The right to keep and bear arms saves lives

Gun control advocates claim that the proliferation and presence of firearms is dangerous and that access to guns should be severely limited if not completely outlawed. Such activists tend to be leftist/progressive/liberal, which means they are also very sensitive about discrimination against women, sexism, misogyny, and crime/violence against women.

Yet these same aspirationists fail to understand that women, who on average are physically smaller and weaker than men, are oftentimes only able to “even the odds” in a combat situation when they have access to a weapon. Few women will have the physical fitness & strength and experience & training of a Ronda Rousey or a Holly Holm.

A woman in Kentucky took advantage of her country’s and state’s laws authorizing civilian gun ownership. It may well have saved her life, given the stalker who attacked her did not only use his hands – he had a weapon himself (a knife).

Here is a video of the would-be rapist/murderer, John Ganobick, following her in the elevator of the mall whose parking lot he later attacked her in.

Fortunately for the would-be victim (and unfortunately for Ganobick), she had a small Beretta pistol in her purse, which she fired, striking Ganobick in the neck and then in the buttocks.

Ganobick fled the scene, was later arrested, and now will go to trial for attempted murder, kidnapping and criminal mischief.

Strangely, news like this are never on nationwide news and media. One needs to dig through local news to find such gems, as the “accepted” narrative is that firearms outside of the hands of police and military personnel are always a bad idea.
